Married Pair/Halligan&Axe Mount

Introducing the Married Pair Mount (Axe & Halligan) - a versatile mounting solution designed for mounting a married pair in both horizontal and vertical orientations. This mount offers two primary mounting locations: one on the Axe head (Axe Head Pocket) and another optional one with the Married Pair Optional Mounting Strap Kit in the center of the married pair. Additionally, there's an optional 3rd mounting location utilizing the FMI5234 Married Pair Halligan Pick Retainer, which allows the Halligan pick to "pass through" the tool board, and shield the pick from damaging anything on the backside of the tool board/mounting surface.

Available Options:

• FMI5118 - Includes only Axe Head Pocket that will orient the Halligan Pick on the opposite end into the mounting surface. For this reason, it is suggested that you also order an FMI5234 Married Pair Halligan Pick Retainer to act as a positive mounting location for the other side of the married pair. Unless you have a non-standard halligan, you will have to cut a clearance hole for the pick into your mounting surface (and/or install a FMI5234) when choosing FMI5118.
  
• FMI5117 - This mount is exactly the same as FMI5118, only the pocket shape is reversed so the halligan pick on the opposite end points away from the mounting surface. This means you do not have to drill a clearance hole for the halligan pick, but you also lose that positive mounting location. 
• FMI5234 - Married Pair Halligan Pick Retainer acts as a positive mounting location for the side of the married pair opposite from the axe head. It is the suggested pairing when ordering an FMI5117 and/or FMI5118.
• FMI51178S - Married Pair Optional Mounting Strap Kit - Order this to add an additional mounting location in the middle of the married pair. This strap kit is suggested for both FMI5117 & FMI5118 mounts. 

Dimensions:

The Married Pair Mount accommodates most axes & halligans, with an approximate cup opening of 9.85" wide, 2.4" tall (minimum), 3.8" tall (maximum), and 5.1" deep. The mounting holes are 0.265" in diameter, perfectly suited to accept the provided 1/4-20 mounting hardware.
